By registering for the Rubfila Palakkad Marathon, participants agree to the following conditions, as well as any instructions from the race organizer and officials.

Safety Regulations
  • Roller skates, wheelbarrows, bikes, cycles, or any motion-enhancing devices are prohibited on the course.
  • Children in strollers are permitted.
Entry Fee
  • All entry fees, related tickets, and purchases are non-refundable.
  • No transfers between races or to another runner; race bibs are non-transferable.
  • Violations will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Registrations are not transferable to the following year’s event.
No Animals Allowed
  • Animals are prohibited, except for guide dogs. Arrangements for guide dogs must be made with the organizer beforehand.
Medical Conditions
  • Participants must ensure they are medically fit to participate in the event.
Race Memento
  • Finishers will receive medals only upon completing their respective course distances. Non-participants are not eligible for medals.
Use of Image
  • By entering, participants consent to the free use of their name, voice, or picture in any event broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion, or other accounts.
Event Cancellation
  • The event may be canceled or postponed due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
  • The organizer is not liable for any entry fees, costs, or expenses incurred by participants due to such cancellations or postponements.
Collection & Use of Information
  • Participants acknowledge and agree that personal information provided during registration or collected by event staff may be stored, used, and disclosed by the organizer for event organization, promotion, and administration, as well as for compiling statistical information.
  • Participants’ names will be added to the organizer’s mailing list for updates on other events and activities.
Race Bib Numbers
  • For safety and identification by medical staff, swapping, selling, reselling, or transferring race bib numbers is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate disqualification.
Race Ejection
  • The organizer reserves the right to refuse attendance or participation to any entrant.
  • Participants found putting themselves or others at risk will be immediately removed from the course and event venue.
Fun Run
  • Participants below 18 years are advised to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and the accompanying adult should be fully responsible for the participant.
Entry Details
  • Participants must provide accurate details during registration and inform the organizer of any changes well in advance of the race.
T-Shirt
  • A complimentary race day T-shirt is provided.
  • Sizes are ordered in advance, and while efforts are made to provide the correct size, the organizers are not responsible for any shortages.
Organizer
  • The Rubfila Palakkad Marathon is organized by the Fort Runners Palakkad running club, registered under the society registration act with Registration Number PKD/CA/67/2024.
Violation of Terms & Conditions
  • The organizer reserves the right to remove, ban, or exclude any participant found breaching these terms and conditions.
  • Participants must comply with the organizer’s decisions.
Minimum Age Criteria
  • 21.1 km Half Marathon – 18 years and above.
  • 10 km Power Run – 14 years and above.
  • 5 km Fun Run – 8 years and above.
  • By registering, you agree that long-distance running is an extreme sport and may be injurious to your body and health. You take full responsibility for participating and agree not to hold the organizing committee, society, organizers, or any associated persons or entities responsible for any injury, accident, illness, or loss that may occur during or as a result of the event.
  • Participants below 18 years of age are advised to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the 5 km Fun Run and 10 km Power Run. The accompanying adult shall be fully responsible for the participant throughout the event.
