Registration:

    1.What are the Race categories in the Rubfila Palakkad Marathon?
  • Half Marathon (21.1 km), 10 km Run, 05km Fun Run (Non- Timed).
    • 2.I tried to register, and the registration fee was deducted from my bank account, but I haven’t received a confirmation email. What should I do?

    • 3.What is a Fun Run/Walk? Can individuals participate with their family in the Fun Run?
  • The Fun Run is a 5 km event at the Palakkad Marathon, designed to introduce participants to the joy of running. Anyone can register—whether individuals, families, or groups of friends.
    • 4.Can I pick up my race kit on race day?
  • Race Kit must be collected only at the “Race Expo” on the day before the event. Race Kit will NOT be distributed on the day of the Race.
    • 5.Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
  • Refunds will NOT be provided once registration is complete.
    • 6.Can I transfer my registration to another person?
  • No, registration transfers are not allowed. Each participant must register individually, except for group registrations.
    • 7.How will I know if my registration is accepted?
  • Once you successfully register, you will receive a confirmation email.
    • 8.Can I register on the day of the event?
  • No registrations will be accepted on the day of the race. Please make sure to register in advance.
    • 9.What are the minimum age criteria for each run?
  • 21.1k HM - 18 years and above
  • 10k - 14 years and above
  • By registering you agree that running long distance is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health. You take full responsibility for participating and do not hold the organizing committee or society or other organizing persons or entities responsible for any injury or accident.
  • Participants below 18 years are advised to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the 10K and the accompanying adult should be fully responsible for the participant.

Accommodation for outstation runners

    **Important Information for Out-of-Town Runners Who Need Accommodation:**

    The starting point for this year's marathon is Fantasy Park in Malampuzha, about 6–7 km away from Palakkad city center. If you're arriving in your own vehicle, you can stay anywhere in Palakkad town and reach the venue by driving yourself in the early morning.

    Since our event starts very early, it's difficult to find autos and public transportation at that time from various locations to the starting point. It’s recommended to stay in hotels near the KSRTC bus stand or Palakkad Railway Station Junction, where autos are available around the clock. Book your room based on your budget and convenience. You can use Google to search for hotels near the KSRTC bus stand and Palakkad Railway Junction and make a reservation.

    A few premium hotels are available about 3 km from the event's starting point in Malampuzha itself. However, please note there is limited or no auto or public transport in this area early in the morning and at night. If you have your own vehicle, these hotels may also be convenient based on your budget and preferences:

    What are the different award categories?

    Awards/Mementos will be presented to both men and women participating in the 10K and Half Marathon, based on the following age categories:

    The overall winner will be determined by gun time, while winners in each age category will be decided by net time.
    There will be no podium positions for the Fun Run. Further details will be posted on the website. Only Indian nationals will be eligible for prize categories
